Waverly Woods voted 2002 MARYLAND GOLF COURSE OF THE YEAR by the National Golf Course Owner's Association:

The Maryland Chapter of the National Golf Course Owner's Association named Waverly Woods Course it's course of the year. Past winners of the National award include Pinehurst #2, Cog Hill, Bay Hill and Singing Hills Resort. Courses were judged according to the following criteria: 1) Exceptional Quality of the Course, 2) Exceptional Quality of the Management, 3) Outstanding Contribution to the Community and 4) Significant Contribution to the Promotion of the Game.

Dave Pelz Short Game School hosted by Waverly Woods:

From 4/23-5/11 or 9/10-9/13, you can improve your short game by attending one of Dave Pelz's world famous short games seminars. Golf Leagues Now Forming:

League play for the 2003 season will begin in April with the kickoff of our ladies league and men's league. A junior league is scheduled to begin during the summer break. We can also customize your own league for your company. Please call the pro shop for up to the minute details.
